Kent State University at East Liverpool is holding an information session for area students interested in earning free college credits while still in high school. The event is at Wednesday, Nov. 29, at 6 p.m. in Purinton Hall, 400 E. Fourth St.
Parents and students are welcome to attend and learn details about the College Credit Plus program that helps Ohio students start college early. Representatives from Kent State, Eastern Gateway Community College and Youngstown State University will explain how qualified high school students can take college-level classes, as well as outline the admission criteria.
