he streetscape project at the intersection of Fourth Street and Broadway Avenue is complete! The intersection is paved, painted, open and the orange barrels are gone! Two-way traffic is now possible on Fourth Street!
(A separate project to replace the brick surface on Broadway continues, along with paving the lower portion of Broadway – neither project is in conjunction with Kent State University.)
This was a joint project between Kent State University, the City of East Liverpool and the Ohio Department of Transportation.
Kent State staff members extend their sincere thanks to each of you for your patience and attention to safety during this extended project. The end result is quite attractive and really helps showcase our campus.
