Elaina Eakle is a graduate student at Kent State University studying communication studies. She is interested in researching activist organizing, resistance, and identity, as well as gender and organizational communication. After graduation, she plans to pursue a doctoral degree in Organizational Communication. She is currently working as a teaching and research assistant while completing her degree.
Previously, she has served with AmeriCorps as a college guide, working primarily as an admissions counselor at Washington State Community College, where she also organized ACT preparation workshops and managed career services available to students. She is currently a member of the Communication Graduate Student Association.
