Elizabeth Garlinger is a Communication Studies graduate student with an emphasis in Health Communication. She has a strong interest in health crisis communication. Along with her studies at Kent State University, she has studied abroad in Chengdu, China through the Sichuan University Summer Immersion Program. She is currently working as a teaching assistant while completing her master's degree. Previously, she has served as a student assistant and intern at University Health Services’ Office of Health Promotion where she led university-wide programming development, community engagement, and grant initiatives. In addition to academic and professional pursuits, Elizabeth serves as the Graduate Committee Representative for the Communication Graduate Student Association.
