School of Communication Studies to Host Induction and Awards Reception

The School of Communication Studies (COMM) will host its annual Lambda Pi Eta induction and student awards and scholarships reception Friday, April 7.

The school will induct its newest class of Upsilon Chapter Lambda Pi Eta members in a private ceremony at 5 p.m. in Lowry Hall, Room 143. Lambda Pi Eta is the honor society of the National Communication Association, and it recognizes, fosters and rewards outstanding scholastic achievement.

This year, COMM will honor both its undergraduate and graduate students in a combined reception immediately following the Lambda Pi Eta induction. The reception, beginning at 6 p.m. in the Moulton Hall Ballroom, will recognize students who earned awards and scholarships.

Family and friends are invited to attend the awards and scholarship program as well.
