
David Trebing
Biography
David Trebing is an associate professor for the School of Communication Studies. David researches history and criticism of public address and the rhetoric’s of art, music and popular culture. His current research projects include the rhetoric of the motorcyclists’ rights movement and the rhetoric of the tea party movement. David teaches several classes including, professional speaking and criticism of public discourse.
David received his Master’s in Rhetorical Theory and Communication from Kent State before earning his doctorate in Philosophy. He has won several awards for his teaching and research including the International Communication Association Teaching Award and the Finalist Outstanding Teaching Award.
