Hunger & Homelessness Awareness Day of Service

Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Day is November 14, 2020 from 1:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m.

Join us on Saturday, November 14th for a special Day of Service focused on hunger and homelessness. Learn about local responses to hunger and homelessness and support organizations doing meaningful work in our community.

We have a number of opportunities available (including in-person and virtual) available for participants to learn about these issues and participate in projects that promote and advance food and housing security in our community. Our 1:00-4:00 p.m. timeline is divided into two 90 minute sessions in an effort to provide for more variety for participants, while also allowing those unable to commit to serve for the full time to volunteer for one of the sessions instead.

All sites will be located on campus and will be limited to 10 people or fewer and will require masks in accordance with Flashes Safe Seven principles and state COVID-19 guidelines.

Please review the projects and service sites below and register for a project in the timeslot in which you wish to serve.
