Dr. Fredieu is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Pre-Clinical Sciences at the Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine (KSUCPM). He completed his undergraduate education with a BA in Biology from Saint Louis University and earned a PhD in Genetics from Case Western Reserve University. He has over 35 years experience in developmental biology research and medical education research with approximately 30 articles, reviews and abstracts. Currently his education and academic research interests include the use of integrated embryological teaching in medical education to enhance the understanding of anatomical sciences and the use of 3D modeling in medical and dental education. He intends to maintain education as his primary pursuit, as it has been over the past 20 years, and to continue education research to advance that pursuit for many years to come.
