Complimentary Wednesday Evening Web Academy Continues through May, 2022

As in-person podiatric medical continuing education makes a slow and steady comeback across the country, attendees are finding themselves faced with the decision of returning to the classroom or slipping back behind a computer screen for virtual attendance. As the only channel for continuing education contact hours for nearly all of 2020, many have grown accustomed to the virtual alternative, making online continuing education a comfortable choice for many still in 2021. Busy physicians looking to squeeze in a few quick credits without re-arranging their schedules and making sacrifices for travel favor online programs, while others ache to return to the traditional program and networking of an in-person event.

As CPM returns to its three fully in-person continuing education events over the span of 2021 and 2022, it’s not without recognizing the benefits of virtual hours that remain popular among loyal registrants. In effort to satisfy physicians with all preferences, CPM’s continuing education team, headed by Dean Dr. Allan Boike and Scientific Co-Chairs Drs. Larry Osher and Mark Hardy, has crafted the Wednesday Evening Web Academy. The program kicked off in June of 2021 and stands to offer a new lecture on the second Wednesday of each month through May, 2022. Each monthly lecture, hosted by CPM faculty and alumni, is complimentary and offers (1) continuing education contact hour.

Registration for all remaining sessions in the program is available now on the CPM website at https://www.kent.edu/cpm/wednesday-evening-web-academy.
