New year, new decade, new opportunities to connect with your classmates at this year’s Alumni Reunion Weekend! Round up your classmates and meet them in Cleveland for a weekend of continuing education on campus, awards celebrations and more, all to benefit scholarships for current KSUCPM students! For the third year in a row, Alumni Reunion Weekend is back, August 13 – 16th, with the same traditions that you love, in all new locations.
The weekend will kick-off Thursday morning with our renowned North Coast Foot & Ankle Symposium, which offers up to 25 CECH starting at an alumni rate of just $49. The conference is open to all, both CPM alumni and non-alumni, and covers a range of topics which include: Trauma of the Lower Extremity, Complications Following Elective Foot & Ankle Surgery, Flatfoot Algorithms, Neuromuscular Deformities, Practice Management, Charcot and Limb Preservation Surgery, Sports Medicine, Modern Wound Care and more! The symposium, lasting August 13th – 15th, will be hosted at our campus in Independence, Ohio.
The social events that make up this year’s Alumni Reunion Weekend do just what we set out to do when we created this tradition: unite our current and former students in an effort to build lasting and impactful relationships, honor our award-winning community, and ultimately, raise money for the OPMSA Outstanding Podiatric Medical Student Scholarship Fund. The reunion weekend lasts Friday evening through Sunday afternoon, and this year, we’re kicking it off with our feature event, the Hall of Fame & Alumni Awards Dinner, which will be held at The Madison in Cleveland. Per tradition, we will be celebrating this year’s anniversary class years of 1970, 1980, 1995 and 2000, recognizing our faculty, staff, students and alumni with several prestigious awards, and inducting two into the KSUCPM Hall of Fame Society.
