KSUCPM Remembers Mildred K. Dixon, DPM

The story of Mildred Dixon's life is one that changed the world of podiatric medicine for minority women in the United States, as well as for the entirety of the podiatric medical community. 

Allan M. Boike, DPM, FACFAS, reappointed as dean of ksucpm

KSUCPM is proud to announce that following a rigorous review, Allan Boike, DPM, FACFAS, has been reappointed to a second five-year term as dean of the College of Podiatric Medicine, beginning July 1, 2019.

KSUCPM Announces potential international diabetic foot clerkship opportunity for students

With the hope of alumni engagement and fundraising, KSUCPM will be able to provide students with the opportunity to participate in a Diabetic Foot Clerkship at the San Donato Hospital in Arezzo, Italy. This incredible clerkship, once funded, will be the first international clerkship for any college of podiatric medicine.

100% of Eligible / seeking students in class of 2019 placed in residency

This year's match results were released March 15th, and KSUCPM is proud to announce that 100% of eligible/seeking students in the class of 2019 received a residency placement. Read here for a list of placement locations around the country that will be lucky to host a KSUCPM alumni for their residency training. 

ksucpm advisory board member honored with emeritus status

In November o 2018, Edward J. Fiffick, DPM, was honored with Emeritus Status and continues to serve in this capacity. Emeritus Status is given to members of the board who have completed outstanding, loyal, and faithful service, and whom are appointed at the recommendation of the board and the campus dean.

4th Year KSUCPM Student Elected President of the APMSA

KSUCPM is proud to announce that for the second year in a row, one of its own students has been elected President of the American Podiatric Medical Student Association (APMSA). Kristen Brett, a fourth-year student at KSUCPM, was elected President of the APMSA at the 2019 APMSA House of Delegates meeting in Nashville, TN this February.
