Depression Screening Day
What: Free, in-person screening for depression, bipolar disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, and post-traumatic stress disorder. Participants can speak with a clinician in the mental health field to review their results. If necessary, appropriate referrals can be made, and participants may also find information on depression and other mental health issues for themselves or others.
When: Thursday, October 18 at 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Where: The 2nd floor mezzanine of the Kent Student Center

The Center and OSU's Center for public health practice to present webinar on shared local public health services on 8/28/18:
Join us on Tuesday, August 28th, from 10:30am to 12:00pm, when The Ohio Local Public Health Accreditation Support Project will be hosting a webinar related to shared services among local health departments in Ohio. This webinar will be presented by Kent State University’s Center for Public Policy and Health (KSU-CPPH).
Webinar Description:
This webinar is intended to familiarize participants with recent work completed by KSU-CPPH surrounding collaboration among local health departments in Ohio, including a discussion of the key challenges and benefits associated with entering into such collaborative ventures. The training will also enable the opportunity for public health leaders to discuss their experiences with sharing services, and allow attendees to learn from their peers.
Target Audience:
The target audience is representatives from governmental public health agencies who are currently a part of a public health shared services relationship or are investigating opportunities to share public health services with other agencies.
