Keynote Speaker: DR. MAURICE HERLIHY "Blockchains and the Future of Distributed Computing"
Dr. Herlihy is well known in his field. A graduate of Harvard and MIT, he currently is affiliated with Brown University as their "An Wang Professor of Computer Science". His awards are many:
- 2003 Dijkstra Prize in Distributed Computing
- 2004 Godel Prize in Theoretical Computer Science
- 2008 ISCA Influential Paper Award
- 2012 Edsger W. Dijkstra Prize
- 2013 Wallace McDowell Award
