We Are Here to Help

Our goal is to help you have a positive and successful experience as you progress through your degree program.  College can seem complicated at times, so we are providing you some information to help you navigate campus life.  If you have questions or need one-on-one assistance, stop by the department office or send an email to depsec@cs.kent.edu. Our departmental office is located on the 2nd floor of the Mathematical Sciences Building (MSB) in room 241, just around the corner from the Mathematics office. We can also be reached by calling 330-672-9980 between the hours of 8:00am-5:00pm Monday through Friday.

Your safety and security is also very important to us and we would like to remind you that the University offers free escort services. Please take advantage of this free service anytime you find yourself walking alone after dark (or anytime you are concerned about your safety). This service is available to everyone on campus including students, faculty and staff. Just call 330-672-7004 or dial 27004 from any campus phone.
