Prof. Jonathan I. Maletic awarded grant from ABB Inc.

Prof. Jonathan I. Maletic was awarded a grant for $120K from ABB Inc. The project is entitled "Software Visualization to Support Understanding of Hierarchical Data" and investigates methods and tools to visualize and understand very large software systems. The results are being tested and applied to various software projects at ABB Inc. The aim is support the long-term maintenance and evolution of software by helping to understand the impact of a proposed change or enhancement to a system.
