Beta Alpha Psi
The purpose of Beta Alpha Psi is to encourage and give recognition to scholastic and professional excellence in the business information field. This includes promoting the study and practice of accounting, finance and information systems; providing opportunities for self-development, service and association among members and practicing professionals, and encouraging a sense of ethical, social, and public responsibility.
Wednesdays, 5:15-6:30 in BSA 100
To become a Beta Alpha Psi pledge, you must meet the following requirements:
-Have declared a major in accounting, finance or information systems,
-Have enrolled in one junior level course in accounting, finance or information system,
-Have attained a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0 (where A is equal to 4.0) or the equivalent, and
-Complete ten hours of community service per semester, ten professional hours per semester, and attend two social events per semester.
