Medical Technology Club

Medical Technology Club

Medical Technology, also referred to as Clinical Laboratory Science, is an allied health career which provides laboratory services for the diagnosis of various diseases. Upon completion of a degree in Medical Technology at Kent State, you will be qualified to work in a variety of laboratory settings.
The purpose of Medical Technology Club is to allow Medical Technology majors, and those of interest, to gather, discuss, and help one another with classes. As a member, you will be given the opportunity to go to several events and form relationships with the clinical directors of the five affiliated hospitals. Such events include an Open House in the Fall, in which clinical directors come to Kent State to provide information about their programs, and also multiple clinical tours, where you will be given the chance to see some of the affiliated hospitals and meet their directors.
Ultimately, Medical Technology Club serves as an excellent resource for Medical Technology majors. Whether that be completing undergraduate courses, or getting into clinicals, Medical Technology Club is here to help every step of the way!
