Rotaract of Kent State

Rotaract is the college level of Rotary, an organization started in 1905 designed to help better communities, both locally and internationally. Each individual club has the ability to choose their own focus on the kind of positive change they want to create in their community. The Kent Rotaract Club wants to focus on early childhood education. More importantly, how eduction effects their future endeavors. We believe it is essential to inspire children as early on in their lives as possible. Our main project is called “Reading Unites” which implements reading programs to the children of Holden elementary, as well as helping in other subjects each week. We hope to teach children the value of learning through positive educational experiences.
