Student Athlete Advisory Committee
The Kent State Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) is a student organization made up of Golden Flash student-athletes assembled to provide insight on the student-athlete experience. SAAC also offers input on the rules, regulations and policies that affect student-athletes' lives and serves as a liaison between the athletes and the administration. Meetings are held once twice per month in the MAC Center.
Twice a month
The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee membership shall be limited to currently registered student-athletes (students who are currently listed on a varsity sports team’s squad list) with two student-athlete representatives elected yearly by each varsity sport, except football which shall have three representatives. Cross country and track may be combined and considered one sport as determined by each sport annually. Each team shall name an alternate representative.
