Undergraduate Student Sociological Collective

The Kent State Undergraduate Student Sociological Collective is an organization rooted in the social science discipline. The Collective meets once every two weeks to discuss current social problems and plan events that accord with our interests. Additionally, the organization is not exclusive to Sociology majors but welcome to all Kent State students.

We will support and encourage members to attend regional professional conferences. Additionally, we look forward to volunteering and organizing events that will encourage social ideas in and around our community.


Meetings are held once every two weeks on Thursdays 6:30 - 7:30 pm in Merrill Hall.

Membership Requirements

The USSC is open to students from all majors and interests. When it comes to sociology, a more diverse groups makes for a better conversation.
