High School Journalism Matters

Research conducted by Dr. Jack Dvorak of Indiana University and funded by the Newspaper Association of America Foundation demonstrates that "High School Journalism Matters." The information collected from over 31,000 students across the nation indicates that those who take journalism or work on a student newspaper or yearbook get better grades in high school and higher scores on the ACT college entrance exam and earn higher grades as college freshman.
