Linda B. Nilson: Transforming your Students into Self-Regulated Learners Workshop
This workshop explains and demonstrates specific strategies that you can use to dispel your students’ misconceptions about learning and teach them to become self-regulated learners. Specifically, you will learn how to adapt and integrate into your courses proven assignments and activities that induce students to practice self-regulated learning. None of them takes much time or forces you to give up content. And you will have plenty of choices: some designed for specific times during the term and others connected to lectures, readings, problem sets, papers, projects, quizzes, and exams.
