Description: The Advanced Telerobotics Research Lab is the Kent State University flagship robotics research and innovation laboratory. Located on the second floor of the Mathematics and Computer Science building the ATR is home to a series of robot systems that include a 6-foot humanoid, autonomous vehicles, drones, and an immersive virtual reality simulator.
Equipment, Features and Services: Our laboratory is equipped with a wide range of tools for mechanical and electrical engineering, and devices for 3D printing, and virtual reality. Our team of researchers can provide assistance and engineering advice related to mechanical, electrical and software engineering of complex ground and aerial vehicles. At the software level, this also includes the areas ranging from applied Artificial Intelligence to high-level app development.
