Meet The Dietitian
Carolyn Hodges is your Registered Dietitian and Health & Wellness Manager for Dining Services at Kent State University. Growing up the oldest of four with two working parents, Carolyn began cooking dinner for her brothers after school and discovered her passion for food. She married her interests in food and wellness by pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Food & Nutrition from Loyola University Chicago, followed by completion of a Master’s Degree and Dietetic Internship at Case Western Reserve University. Over the last 10 years, she has provided counseling services to students in the university setting and served in various corporate wellness roles for organizations in Ohio. Carolyn lives in Cleveland with her husband and two young boys (who don’t yet love kale, but she’s working on it), and enjoys creating her own recipes, hiking with her family, and dark chocolate.
