2019-2020 Faculty Associates for Diversity
Kent State University's Interim Senior Vice President and Provost Melody Tankersley, and Vice President for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Alfreda Brown, jointly announced on August 7, 2019 the appointment of three faculty members as 2019-2020 Provost Faculty Associates for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.
- Kelly Cichy, Ph.D., associate professor in the School of Lifespan Development and Educational Sciences, will serve as faculty associate for the Faculty and Graduate Student Retention, Inclusion and Success.
- Associate professor Ed Dauterich, Ph.D., from the Department of English, will serve as faculty associate for the DEI Training and Education Lab.
- Gregory King, M.F.A., assistant professor from the School of Theatre and Dance, will serve as faculty associate for Faculty and Graduate Student Retention, Inclusion and Success.
Provost faculty associates support recruitment and retention of underrepresented, highly qualified faculty, staff and students, and the university's mission to build a more inclusive environment at Kent State.
