International Film and Discussion: Black Head Cow

Produced by Tanzania’s Orkeeswa School, (the one that Dr. Kenneth Cushner and others assist) created the film, "Black Head Cow." This film was designed to bring the issue of child marriage to the Maasai community for discussion. Sioni Ayubu Sindiyo Mollel, one of the former students from the school, will be in attendance to lead the discussion. Light refreshments will be served at this event which is free and open to the public as part of the center’s recognition of International Women’s Day. The film has screened at the Toronto Int'l Film Festival, the Berlin Film Fest and the Lisbon (Portugal) Film festival.
