Cultural Foundations students and faculty member present at the American Educational Studies Association (AESA) conference

Cultural Foundations students, Sarah Greywitt and Simge Engelkiran, presented papers at the 2021 AESA meeting in Portland, Oregon. Sarah presented, “Making Public in the Community College: Political Education Towards a More Public School.” Simge presented, “Critical Thinking About Citizenship in the North Cyprus’ Middle School Social Studies Textbooks.” Dr. Tricia Niesz also presented a paper at AESA, which was titled, “Activist Educators and the Production, Circulation, and Impact of Social Movement Knowledge.”
