Dr. Amy Damrow published "Beyond the Bubble" and inspired "How can I say this so you will stay?" play

Dr. Amy Damrow, Assistant Professor of Cultural Foundations (Stark Campus), recently published “Beyond the bubble: Preparing preservice teachers through dialogue across distance and difference” (with Jacquelyn Sweeney) in the journal, Teaching and Teacher Education. In addition, a play inspired by her research will be staged at both the Kennedy Center’s Page-to-Stage New Play Festival and at Bowie State University (Maryland) in September. Titled, How can I say this so you will stay?, the play follows a group of student teachers thrust into an academic study on the difficult dialogues we try to avoid in life with those who hold different ideological spaces than we do.
