Suggestive Electives for Hospitality Management Majors

Each Hospitality Management student must complete 12-15 hospitality professional electives. The purpose of these professional electives is to enable students to specialize in areas of particular interest such as

  • Meeting/events (HM 33040, HM 43043, HM 43192, HM 33031, & HM 33070).  Alternatively, you can also obtain a minor in Event Planning.
  • Hotel management (HM 33040 & HM 43040)
  • Restaurant and food management (HM 23021, HM 33031, HM 33070, & HM 33145)
  • Tourism (RPTM courses)
