I joined the faculty of Kent State University as a clinical instructor in 2012. Prior to this, I have worked as a speech language pathologist in the settings of long-term care, outpatient rehab, home health, and private practice. I have also managed a number of research grants, focusing on interventions for older adults with cognitive impairments, which is my primary area of interest. I am co-author of the treatment manual, "Here's How to Treat Dementia" published by Plural Publishing in 2013 and am a regular contributor and presenter on speechpathology.com. I earned my B.S. Ed. from Miami University and my M.A. from Case Western Reserve University.
