Master of Arts
The Master of Arts program is designed to prepare students for doctoral level studies. Students in the MA in Educational Psychology will be provided with rigorous training in research methods and an education in the major theoretical perspectives in educational psychology.
The MA requires a thesis in which students design and conduct their own research in Educational Psychology under the mentorship of one of the Educational Psychology faculty members.
Requirements: Thirty-nine (39) or more advisor approved graduate hours.
- 12 Credit hours of Educational Psychology Core Requirements
- 12 Credit hours of Research and Methodology Requirements
- 9 Credit hours of Electives
- 6 Credit hours for a Thesis Project
