Scheduling your Special Education coursework in a manner that follows your approved Plan of Study has never been easier.
The official calendars provided on the Special Education page will assist you in planning your studies around your schedule now and as you complete your degree program or licensure coursework. On each of the Undergraduate, Masters, and Doctoral Calendar pages, you will find listings for the days and times that most Special Education coursework is offered each semester. The information included in the calendars may be helpful for planning however, it should NEVER replace discussions with your advisor. Changes to the official calendars are possible, and course format (e.g., online, face-to-face, or hybrid) is also subject to change. The Kent State University Schedule of Classes link on Flashline will include all courses offered in all programs each semester.
Use the Course Scheduling Worksheet to keep track of the courses you are considering taking during the upcoming semester. You can block out dates and times that will not work with your schedule and look for courses that will meet your scheduling needs. You can also visit the Special Education Faculty page to learn more about the Department's faculty as well as to quickly locate the email address of your program/specialization area advisor.
