Pre-K Special Needs

The Pre-Kindergarten Special Needs Endorsement provides existing teachers with the coursework and field experiences necessary to work effectively with all preschool aged children in inclusive settings.  The completed coursework will make the candidate eligible for the Ohio Department of Education issued endorsement.

This endorsement can be added to an existing teaching license (e.g., ECE license). The courses are offered at the graduate level only. Individuals interested in the program can complete the requirements as part of their master’s degree or as a non-degree seeking student independent from a special education degree.
