From November 1- December 3 (Giving Tuesday), for every 15 unique donors who give $25+ to these funds, it will receive a $500 Bonus Participation Boost from the Kent State University Foundation! The EHHS Graduate Research Award provides funds for graduate students conducting a scholarly project under the direction of a faculty mentor. Their research projects are designed to yield finished products such as peer-reviewed publications, grant applications or presentations at professional conferences. Finished projects of this nature are critical for a new scholar to advance findings in their field of study. EHHS Research team members have generously pledged $6,100 to match all gifts to the research award fund this month. With your support, our graduate students will excel in their research and future careers.
Each year, professors from around the world spend time in residence at Kent State University. These scholars come to use our exceptional Kent State library system and to study with one of our professors, often specifically seeking out that professor from published research. Your gift to the Aggarwal-Blackburn Visiting Scholars Program supports our 30+ year legacy of hosting important intercultural education exchanges, leading the way in citizen diplomacy by deepening tolerance and sharpening our knowledge about an increasingly global village.
