Ohio Google Summit 2021

The 2021 Google Summit is all virtual and all FREE! 

All School Personnel are encouraged to attend!

Join K-12 educators for the 10th annual ITIP Ohio Google Summit held virtually. Choose from live and pre-recorded virtual sessions focused on Google and Google-friendly tools. Sessions will feature best practices for developing and delivering content to students both in-person and virtually.

Sessions will be presented by Google Education Trainers, Google Educators, Technology Coordinators, Principals, Curriculum Specialists, and "Googley" classroom teachers.

Graduate Credit Information 

For a $150 graduate credit fee to Kent State University and satisfactory completion of assignments, participants can earn one (1) gradate credit from Kent State University. 

Steps to receive graduate credit:

  1. Complete your registration using the registration link below. Please allow up to 3 business days for processing. Payment instructions will be emailed to participant after processing.
  2. Select six Google Summit 2021 sessions. Complete the “Analyze, Reflect, Apply and Inquire” assignment for those six sessions. (See template below. Duplicate as needed.)
  3. Select one of the sessions from the above assignment, and apply the technology integration theoretical concept, research finding, or theory to an existing lesson plan.  Submit the revised lesson plan that demonstrates the theory in classroom practice.
  4. Assignments will be emailed to Dr. Mandy Cenker at mcenker@kent.edu by Friday, June 4, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. Early submissions are encouraged and welcome. 
  5. Contact pd@kent.edu with any questions.  This is a Summer 2021 course. Official transcripts available after August 31.

Payment Deadlines is May 17th. Specific payment directions will be provided in the Registration Confirmation. Check your email accordingly.
