Rehabilitation Counseling Accreditation | Kent State University

Kent State University’s Rehabilitation Counseling program is accredited by the Council on Rehabilitation Education (CORE) through summer 2019.

About CORE

CORE is an accreditation organization for universities with programs that prepare students for a variety of professional rehabilitation counseling positions. CORE merged with its affiliate, the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP) in July 2017. KSU's Rehabilitation Counseling program will, however, continue to be accredited under the CORE standards through its current accreditation cycle.

Please visit CACREP/CORE merger updates for additional information.
