Cuyahoga Falls City Schools consists of one high school, two middle schools, six elementary schools, and a learning center. In 2016, Cuyahoga Falls Roberts Middle School was recognized as Ohio Department of Education (ODE) School of Momentum. The Momentum Award recognizes schools that have received A's on every value-added measure included on the 2016 Ohio School Report Card. The mission of Hudson City Schools is to “….provide an education program that maximizes the intellectual, physical, social and emotional development of each child in a safe, nurturing and diverse environment.” Ohio's State Board of Education has granted Hudson Middle School the 2016 Momentum Award. Kent City Schools is a suburban school district with four elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school. The mission of Kent City Schools is to “…. see that all students have access to the resources and tools necessary to improve academically, socially and emotionally. Providing support in these areas will help students and staff to adopt behaviors that will enhance their well-being and quality of life.” Kent City Schools received an “A” grade in Overall Student Progress for the 2013-14 school year.
