I began my undergraduate career as Nutrition and Dietetics major at Youngstown State University, and transferred to Kent State University. In 1989, I received an M.ED in Higher Education Administration from KSU. For me, college was a transforming experience. During those years, I gained self-knowledge and confidence, identified my interests and dreams, and became excited about how the curriculum could prepare me for the world of work. I love working with college students to help them succeed and achieve their own dreams. I have worked at KSU for fifteen years in various offices including the Center for Student Involvement, University College, and Education, Health, and Human Services. I am currently an Academic Advisor working with students in Hospitality Management and Sports Administration.
