2016 Online Learning Symposium Will Take Place Nov. 10
Join the Kent State University online community of faculty and online learning staff in exploration of some of the latest research in online learning, with a variety of sessions that focus on research in practice. Learn both the “why” and the “how” in sessions, such as:

This year’s event will feature "Tech Tryouts," which will give you opportunities for hands-on, guided interactions with some of the technologies you can use in your online teaching, including Blackboard Collaborate, Kaltura and CaptureSpace.
The keynote speaker is Michael G. Moore, Ph.D., a distinguished Professor Emeritus of Education at Penn State University. Moore is a leading, internationally known scholar in the study and practice of distance education.
Continental breakfast, lunch and closing refreshments are included. There is no charge for the event, but registration is required.
