Art Exhibit to Come to Kent State University Hotel

By Ellie Enselein

The Kent State University Hotel and Conference Center is hosting a gallery night and reception for California artist Lawrence R. Armstrong on Friday, Feb. 3, from 5-8 p.m.

The event will include complimentary light appetizers as well as happy-hour drink specials and appetizer specials. Those who attend the event will have an opportunity to meet the artist and discuss his work. Admission to the event is free.

Armstrong, a well-known architect and designer, lives in Irvine, California. He is the CEO of Ware Malcomb, an international architecture firm established in 1972. His work is reflected in his art, which has been described as an “exploration of the concept of layers,” by the Agora Gallery in New York City.
