Best-selling Author and Internationally Renowned Health and Fitness Expert Visits Kent State July 27
Sean Foy, internationally renowned authority on fitness, weight management and healthy living, will bring his upbeat, positive and sensible approach to Kent State University. All full- and part-time faculty and staff are invited to meet Foy, who will be presenting on the Kent Campus and at Kent State University at Trumbull.
As a husband and father of two, as well as president and founder of Personal Wellness Corporation, an international health and wellness education and consulting firm, Foyer understands “busy” and brings his real-life exercise and life solutions to audiences wherever he goes. Appearing on ABC, NBC, FOX, CBS and other popular national television outlets, he has spent the last 25 years testing, researching and sharing his findings on how to crack the code to making fitness work and maximizing potential.
“We are honored to have this worldwide authority on fitness, weight management and healthy living visit Northeast Ohio,” says Kim Hauge, manager for university wellness and healthy campus promotions at Kent State. “Sean’s holistic approach to healthy living aligns with our healthy campus initiative, and having heard and met Sean, and knowing the impact he has had on others, I can’t wait for our Kent State family to meet him.”
For the more than 1,100 employees who were involved in the recent “On The Move” challenge, you know him as your weekly word of inspiration and as your personal coach as he led Team Kent State through the 12-week challenge and recognition as a Top 50 Most Active Employer. His practical and common-sense thinking and tools moved so many to make personal lifestyle changes that would forever change how they think and feel about physical activity, emotional well-being and what motivates them on a very personal level.
"It is without question that anyone and everyone who comes in contact with Foyer’s insight, wisdom and experience in personal well-being will benefit from the experience," Hauge says.
