By Carly Evans
Kent State University's Career Exploration and Development will host its Spring Internship, Co-op and Career Fair on Thursday, Feb. 23, from noon-4 p.m. in the Kent State Field House.
Faculty and staff are encouraged to inform students and alumni of all majors about the event, especially those seeking full-time employment, co-op and internship opportunities. Registration is not required.
The Kent State Alumni Association is sponsoring a professional headshot opportunity for attendees. PARTA will provide direct routes from the Kent Student Center to the Field House. Students should wear professional attire and bring copies of their résumés.
Those planning to attend are encouraged to go to a Fair Prep Workshop in the Center for Undergraduate Excellence, Room 141. The workshop will be held on Feb. 14, 15 and 16, from noon-1 p.m. Attendees will learn how to prepare an elevator pitch and make their résumés stand out.
Students are encouraged to bring their FLASHcards for check-in and to update Flash @ Work accounts at flash-at-work.kent.edu.
