Community Engagement Event Brings Faculty and Staff to Residence Halls
Kent State University's Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost Todd Diacon and Vice President for Student Affairs Shay Little invite faculty and staff to participate in the university’s first formal Faculty and Staff Community Engagement Event.
The event, scheduled for Wednesday, March 8, from 6-8 p.m., offers faculty and staff an opportunity to interact with students where they live. Faculty and staff participants will be escorted by Department of Residence Services staff and will be given academic resource information for Save My Semester workshops and tutoring registration to distribute to students.
Those interested in participating should RSVP to Rayshawn Eastman, assistant director for residential communities, at firstname.lastname@example.org by Monday, March 6.
Participants will meet in the Tri-Towers Rotunda area located by Rosie’s Diner and the Tri-Towers Area Desk at 5:45 p.m. on March 8.
