Manchester Field

By Carly Evans

Members of the Kent Indian Association enjoy themselves at Holi, Festival of Colors, on the Kent Campus.

Kent State University's Kent Indian Association will host Holi, Festival of Colors, at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 8, at Manchester Field on the Kent Campus.

Holi is a spring festival commonly celebrated in India and Nepal and also is known as the festival of sharing love.

The festival signifies the victory of good over evil, the arrival of spring and, for many, a festive day to meet others. It also is celebrated as a thanksgiving for a good harvest.

The festival will feature a DJ, games and food. The event is free and open to the public.
