Kent State Hosts Free Big Dream Gathering on Nov. 29
Kent State University is hosting a Big Dream Gathering and everyone is invited – Kent State students, faculty, staff and people in the surrounding community. These events have been taking place around the country, and they provide a fun, safe and encouraging environment for people to think about their big dreams and ideas, write them down and then get help to make those dreams a reality.
Kent State’s event begins at 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 29 in the Kent Student Center Ballroom. The first 150 people to register will receive a copy of the best-selling book Ignite. Mitch Matthews, the Big Dream Gathering co-founder, will deliver a keynote address to kick off the event. He will share four key strategies for getting clear on your goals and building a plan to achieve them. Then everyone will have the chance to post some dreams of their own and encourage other dreamers too. The event concludes at 8 p.m., followed by an informal networking after-party. It is free to attend, open to the public and fun for everyone. For details, visit www.kent.edu/bdg.
