Kent State Hotel’s Nineteen10 Restaurant and Lounge Presents Chef’s Night Cooking Class on March 3

The Kent State University Hotel and Conference Center’s restaurant and lounge Nineteen10 is hosting a Chef’s Night Cooking Class with Chef Neal Pridemore on March 3 at 6:30 p.m.
Registration costs $38 for a single ticket and $70 for a couple. Reservations are required by 6 p.m. on March 2.
Pridemore will prepare, cook and present a five-course dinner for the class. Each course is paired with a 4-ounce glass of wine.
“I will go around to tables to go over each recipe,” Pridemore says. “All items in each recipe will be displayed, where people can see and touch the ingredients. I present the recipes and discuss how to put them together at home.”
The menu includes:
- Shrimp bisque paired with Ballatore Gran Spumante
- Blackened tenderloin with pepper relish paired with Candoni Pinot Noir
- Crisp middlefield farms greens, goat cheese and golden beets paired with Canyon Road Sauvignon Blanc
- Butter cracker encrusted berlin lake walleye, parmesan risotto and lemon cream velouté paired with Raven’s Glenn Chardonnay
- Crunchy cream parfait
