Kent State M.F.A. Students Show Artwork at Center for the Visual Arts Gallery

Center for the Visual Arts Gallery

The School of Art Collection and Galleries and the School of Art at Kent State University present a curated exhibition of recent works by current M.F.A. graduate students. The exhibition will be on view through Feb. 16 at the Center for the Visual Arts Gallery, 325 Terrace Dr. in Kent. The exhibition is free and open to the public.  A full-color catalog will be available at the gallery for $10.

 

The artwork on view includes a variety of media: ceramics, painting, drawing, glass, jewelry/metals, sculpture, new media, printmaking and photography. Artists participating in the show are Emma Anderson, Marshall Argenta, Nathaniel Avery, Shannon Black, David Braun, Chandler Brutscher, Lori Catanzarite, Zachary Clifford, Kiara Gabbard, Shannon Hamilton, Lindsey James, Jennifer Jones, Alysia Klein, Jasmine Kornel, Tirzah Legg, Aaron Maas, Sarah McMahon, Jason Milburn, Ryan Morris, Kit Palencar, Allison Smith, Bridget Stamp, Omid Tavakoli, Luca Taylor and Charity Thomas.

 

Gallery hours are Tuesday through Friday from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. during the run of each exhibit. The gallery is located on the first floor of Kent State’s Center for the Visual Arts. Parking is available at paid meters along Terrace Drive and behind the Center for the Visual Arts. The visitor’s lot by the Kent Student Center also is available.
