Kent State Museum Hosts "Millie" Preview, Flapper Lecture

The Kent State University Museum and School of Theatre and Dance are teaming up to present a unique event celebrating the perennial glamor and allure of the 1920s.

This special program on Wednesday, Feb. 17, at 2 p.m. is presented in conjunction with the museum’s “Flapper Style: 1920s Fashion” exhibit and Kent State’s production of “Thoroughly Modern Millie.” The event will include a short preview of “Thoroughly Modern Millie” by members of the cast, followed by “Flapper Style,” a talk by curator Sara Hume, Ph.D. Light refreshments will be served.
