WKSU Presents Community Event in June

As part of WKSU’s community events, the award-winning public radio station will host A Prairie Home Companion shindig and viewing party on Saturday, June 25, at 5 p.m. at Happy Days Lodge in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Tickets, which include food, cost $10 and are available through the station’s website at www.wksu.org.

Celebrate A Prairie Home Companion host Garrison Keillor as he nears his retirement. Join a live viewing party of his penultimate show complete with food beforehand, including Powdermilk Biscuits with pulled pork and blueberry sauce, tater tots with ketchup, Swedish meatballs, rhubarb hand pies and more! Craft beer will be available for purchase. Watch the program live from Tanglewood, complete with musical guests and one of the last trips to Lake Wobegon. WKSU’s Kabir Bhatia will lead the party fun, including prize drawings and trivia during the two hours of the show.
