Alicia Robinson, Women’s Center, facilitated a workshop called “Lighting a Legacy: Gaining the Tools to Light the Flame in the Next Generation of Young Girls” at the Black Women and Girls Symposium: Producers of Knowledge and Agents of Change on Sept. 9, 2016, in Providence, Rhode Island. The workshop taught participants how to use their passions to drive change. Participants were lead through mini-sessions that taught them the key components of being a change agent, setting effective goals and ensuring their vision is accomplished.
